Hello, my name is Lisa, I got your web-site from an e-mail scam site. I received an e-mail stating I won a sweepstakes, I don’t believe it is true and I was wondering how I could check to see who the e-mail addresses belong to. The address stating I won their sweepstakes was from peesoftware2005@handbag.com and they asked me to respond to their financial department at hockinsfinance@netzero.net. Could you please check into these e-mail addresses or let me know how I could? Also how do I go about reporting them to someone so no one will get scammed by them.

Without your having information other than an email address, which was almost certainly opened at the ISP with fraudulant information, and which is also probably already shut down now, there isn’t much you can do about this particular email.
However, in general, you can get a lot of great information about reporting scams from my good friends Jim and Audri Lanford over at ScamBusters.org.
