Why is it that so many attorneys are so completely clueless about the Internet? Is the law really that fluid?
It’s not just attorneys – many people are clueless about the Internet; in fact, to the extent to which I infer you are suggesting ‘cluefull’, I’d posit that most people are clueless about the Internet.
That said, until just recently there was no such thing as laws which referenced or in any fashion took into account, let alone were specifically developed for, the Internet. A few law schools are now offering courses in the Internet and applicable laws (including the law school at which I myself teach Internet law).
