Can you tell me what are the green and pink flags for that I’m seeing in cemeteries the past few years on Memorial Day?

Without a more detailed description, or perhaps a picture, it is impossible to say. However, an educated guess would be that if they are red or “pink� flowers on a green background, that would be the poppy field flag, representing the fallen soldier and blood spilled on the battle field.
It would also be the flag of a nation representing in which war or which country the veteran fought, or of a particular group representing the veteran’s affiliation with that group.
